An Update on Covid-19 From Our CEO
Dear Friends and Supporters of Pure Insight
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for sticking with us during these challenging times. The commitment and support we have seen from our incredible volunteers at this difficult time is only rivalled by the response from our amazing staff team. As key workers your flexibility and creativity in offering support to our young people has meant that they are not left alone and isolated, they have been able to maintain their relationships with you. I know there may have been a few bumps in the road and there may be a few more but your consistency and reliability is truly humbling. Those messages, group chats, phone calls, video calls, food/item doorstep drops offs, safe window conversations and safe distance visits/walks are making an incredible difference to the lives of our youngsters. As a volunteer mentor myself I know how much my young mum needs those regular messages and calls, we have also been out on what we refer to as ‘Safe Distance Walking’ once a week so that she gets that human contact she desperately needs. I understand everyone’s circumstances will be different as will every offer so if there is anything else you think we can do for your young person please do let us know.
We wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything that you are doing now and will continue to do as we enter the next phase of this new journey we find ourselves on. I hope that you feel supported during this time, please do let us know if there is anything else we can do to support you too.
Thanks again for all that you are and all that you do
Sarah CEO and the Pure Insight Team
