Just a taste....
of what we have been up to in October and November (so far).
Sarah Insight, Jenny Insight, Oliver Insight and one of our Cheshire East young men met with Andy Burnham (Mayor of Greater Manchester) to discuss issues for care leavers and highlight the target areas that need to be improved.
We have now completed our mentor training in Trafford. We have 9 mentors completed the training and we have had 4 successful matches so far. We are now looking to recruit a new set of mentors for our new input of mentees in the new year.
We celebrated the Greater Manchester Care Leaver awards night this Thursday 18th of October and some of the young people we support won awards.
We celebrated Leaving Care week with our young people and the local leaving care teams. There were visits to Blackpool Zoo, Chill Factore, the Cinema, Stockport County for lunch and sessions at the gym! Everyone had a great time. We also had meals out with our Trafford and Cheshire East young people.
We held a Halloween party at the end of October....wwwww....
Alice Insight kicked off our Christmas Project team at the end of October. Our young people, volutneers and Alice are getting together to make handmade cards, lots of crafting items, baked goods, sewing and collages all to sell at one of the local Christmas markets (all profits go back to supporting our young people).... click here to find out more
Oliver Insight was a guest speaker at The Mellor Women's Fellowship. Pure Insight were chosen to receive the proceed of their fundraising this week. He was also spoilt with an amazing afternoon tea!

Young people went to see Bugzy Malone (no not the musical) a few weeks ago with Janine Insight. He is a Manchester born rapper and Jackie M Insight sourced the tickets. All our young people said they had a belting time!!
A lot of our young people have been volunteering at the Young Peoples Benchmarking Forum, Pure Insight Training and volunteering in our local community.
