An update on Trafford

We have been busy in Trafford training new volunteers and getting to know our young people. We have been lucky enough to already have a few very kind supporters; one of which is The Limelight Centre. The Limelight Centre is a vibrant community and health wellbeing hub and is a drop off point for our Trafford Young People. They also supported our Christmas appeal and collected a huge number of gifts for our young people. We are so grateful of what they do for us. thank you.

Trafford also unveiled proposals for the new University with the old Kellogg’s headquarters on Talbot Road earmarked as the University’s main campus. UA92 has joined forces with prestigious institutions across both education and industry including the likes of Lancaster University and Microsoft and will deliver a specialist focus in the areas of sport, business and media. The aim of the new partnership is to provide not just a degree but a preparation for life, and a personal journey that will help individuals develop the emotional, physical and social qualities required to shine. Some of our young people went to the launch of Traffords first University. Keisha and Kerry also had a go at making smoothies on a bike!

With the help and support of all our volunteers, young people and supporters our Trafford family is growing from strength to strength.
