Pure Insight volunteer Richard wins Outstanding Volunteer Award at Bentley Awards 2026

Pure Insight is delighted to celebrate the achievements of Richard, who won the Outstanding Volunteer (Individual) Award at the Bentley Thank You Event and Awards on 15 October 2026.

Richard received the award in recognition of his exceptional compassion, dedication and the life-changing support he provides to care-experienced young people.

Going far beyond his volunteering role, Richard has been a constant source of practical and emotional support for young people facing significant challenges, including homelessness, isolation and instability. From helping with everyday essentials such as cooking, laundry and shopping to providing transport to training, employment and volunteering opportunities, Richard has consistently been there when needed most. He has also opened his home, supported a young person through periods of homelessness and encouraged independence and confidence through activities such as gardening and DIY.

Richard's award is a wonderful recognition of his generosity and commitment, and a powerful reminder of the difference that one positive relationship can make to a young person's life.

A huge congratulations to Richard on this well-deserved award! We are incredibly proud to have him as part of the Pure Insight volunteering community and grateful for everything he does to help care-experienced young people thrive.
